About Mrs. Carr

I am thrilled to be entering my eighth year of teaching! I am originally from Philadelphia, PA where I spent most of my life! I moved to Baltimore, Maryland to attend Johns Hopkins University. I have undergraduate degrees in Elementary Education and Psychology and a masters degree in School Administration and Supervision.

I have spent four years teaching fifth grade here at Village. Previously, I taught first grade in New Jersey, and first and second grades in Maryland.

While in Maryland, I met my husband while teaching across the hall from one another! We moved back to Rochester to get married and start our little family. We have two precious girls; Charlie is two and Chloe just turned one in August! I talk about them a lot in class, so you will learn a great deal about them throughout the year. Hopefully they will be able to come in and visit!

I am a huge sports fan! I love hockey and football. Mr. Carr is now forced to cheer for Buffalo AND Philly! Mr. Carr and I love to attend Sabres games...we try to go as much as we can!
